Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship
Interested in $30,000? When you apply for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s (JKCF) Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, you can get up to $30,000 towards a baccalaureate program at an accredited college or university that you intend to transfer to. Students are only eligible if they plan on attending an accredited college or university full-time in fall of 2014. Students must complete Phase 1 of the application by November 7, 2013. As of this year, students no longer need to be nominated to apply for the scholarship.
Montgomery College is offering a workshop series to help applicants through Phase 1 of their applications on Thursday, September 19 2013, and October 3 2013, 4:00-6:00 PM on the Germantown Campus at SA270. Students who are invited to complete Phase 2 by JCKF will be able to work directly with Lucy Laufe.
To be eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship:
1) Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
2) Students must have reached sophomore status by December 31, 2013.
3) Students must have financial need.
