ATTENTION STUDENTS

Nominate Your FAVORITE Professor for the

Germantown Excellence in Teaching Award

Every year a Germantown full or part time faculty member is recognized for exceptional teaching and ability to make learning meaningful.

We need YOU to get involved! Nominate your professor to receive this year’s award.

Here’s how:

1. Email Zenobia Garrison, zenobia.garrison@montgomerycollege.edu. Use “Teacher Excellence Award” in the subject line. Include your name, M#, and phone number.

2. Attach a typed letter of recommendation explaining what makes your professor special and why they deserve this award (be sure to include what you’ve gained from the course, how their teaching style helps you learn, and what difference they are making in your life/experience here at MC).

3. Ask fellow classmates to write a letter of recommendation for the professor as well (at least two student letters are required to complete the nomination packet). Shhh, this nomination will be a surprise for your professor.
