Welcome fellow MCG students to your student newspaper, the Globe.
It is absolutely exciting to begin a new school year at MC. There is uniqueness on our campus that makes Germantown a special place. Your stories, your projects, your struggles, your challenges all need to be heard. The Globe is your place to share all of that with fellow students.
This is a cordial invitation to all students to visit the Globe’s open meetings every Monday at 2:30pm in HT216.
I have met individuals on campus that have outstanding visions and goals and they are starting their journey at MC. There are also those who are in the midst of discovering their passions; which is entirely normal. To enhance your college experience, it is vital to become involved.
It’s encouraging and a privilege to begin my journalism career as your new editor-in-chief for The Globe. I am blessed to be working in the journalism field here on our Germantown Campus. Everyday there are new stories to be discovered.
Many opportunities will open in the future for our dedicated and passionate students because of our new bioscience technology building and the new Holy Cross Hospital on campus.
MC Germantown is full of life and as your new editor-in-chief, I want people to know they can read about our tremendous happenings and events. Better yet, they can write about this great campus and be part of the campus. Welcome, (or welcome back) to our Germantown campus. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with you on The Globe.
