Stevenson Merit-Based Scholarship
When winter becomes spring, there are several things on students’ minds: midterm grades and finals, spring break, and what to do after a spring graduation. Stevenson University, located in Stevenson MD, not far from Baltimore, has 2 campuses and offers 29 Undergraduate, 9 adult Undergraduate, and 7 Graduate programs. Stevenson has a welcoming attitude towards transfer students and offers 3 scholarships to help transfer students with costs: The transfer fellowship, the honors incentive scholarship and the merit-based scholarship.
The transfer fellowship is a full tuition scholarship for incoming transfer students who will be enrolled as full time undergraduates and start in the Fall. The scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Finalists will be invited for an interview during the weeks of April 28 and May 5. U.S. citizens, permanent residents and international students are all welcome to apply.
To be considered for the transfer fellowship, applicants must: submit a completed undergraduate admissions application for Fall 2014 by Friday, April 25, (postmark deadline) or apply online. Then applicants must submit a completed transfer fellowship application by April 25 (postmark deadline).
The Stevenson merit-based scholarship is for transfer students with cumulative GPA averages starting at 2.8. Those GPA averages and credits considered must be earned by February 1st for starting in Fall and by October 1st for starting in Spring. The scholarship amount is calculated from your GPA and can reach $14,000 annually for a maximum of 4 consecutive years. All applicants are automatically renewed.
