The Clothesline Project
In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, students from Professor Bagshaw’s WS101 class will display self-designed shirts for The Clothesline Project on October 17, 2013 in the atrium outside HT216/Globe Hall from 9:45AM-10:45AM.
The Clothesline Project is a display of shirts designed by female survivors of violence or people who have known a woman who has been a victim of abuse. The shirts, displaying graphic messages and illustrations, increase awareness of the impact of violence against women. Approximately 25% of women will experience domestic violence in their lifetimes. Join us in breaking the cycle.
