Claim Your Account Reminder

It’s time to Claim Your Account.

As part of a continuing effort to safeguard electronic information, enhance technology services, and strengthen Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) compliance, Montgomery College is requiring all students and employees to “Claim Your Account” and build a strong My MC password by October 28, 2013. To complete this action, just click the new “Claim Your Account” link on the My MC login page and follow the instructions. You will need your My MC ID and M# to begin. You can find your M# using the “What is my College ID?” link on the My MC homepage.

Helpful tutorials and FAQs are available on the www.montgomerycollege.edu/claim-your-account/ website. The IT Service Desk is ready to assist at itservicedesk@montgomerycollege.edu or by calling 240-567-7222. OIT representatives will also be at the Germantown Welcome Center in the Sciences and Applied Studies (SA) Building, Monday, September 30 through Wednesday, October 2 from 11:30am – 1:30pm to provide assistance.

Remember, a strong password is the first line of defense when protecting online information.
