Eat Moar Chickin?

Though it may have a grammatically incorrect slogan, Chick-Fil-A still reigns supreme as a “go-to” place for students at Montgomery College Germantown Campus (MCGC). With an easily accessible location, the fair prices of a fast food restaurant, the customer service of an actual restaurant, and the quality of food that only Chick-Fil-A carries, it’s not hard to believe how many students would prefer to go here when given the chance.
Chick-Fil-A is located right next to the Germantown Transit Station, meaning it’s a close to home place to grab grub for those who ride the bus, and it’s only about ten minutes away from campus for those car riders. Since it’s practically on the way, time should not be much of an issue for most students getting food, however if time is an issue–let’s say someone only has 25-30 minutes to snack before their next class–anyone can easily navigate their way through the Drive-Thru. The lines may seem long, but the staff works efficiently in moving everyone along. The Drive-Thru is comparable to major chains such as McDonalds in speed, but still give you the better quality of food. And for those who decide to wander their way inside, they should notice how every cash register is almost always open–making the customers experience in line quick and painless.
The only thing that Chick-Fil-A knows better than their chicken, is their good customer service. Every order made by a customer is accompanied by their name. Unlike Burger King, Chick-Fil-A does not call out order by numbers printed out, but by the customers actual name. This shows how much they care for every customer on an individual level. Also, after sitting down, if it looks like a customer needs a refill, or might want some sauce, a Chick-Fil-A staff member takes the initiative and doubles as waitstaff. The best part–you don’t have to leave a tip on the table (though I personally do encourage you to if you can)!
Economically, this food chain may be a bit higher in price than most fast food restaurants, but the quality of food and service render the money worth it. This is not a bottom dollar fast food place, but it is a great place to hit up every once in awhile when the cash wad in your wallet isn’t so sparse While a customer may receive restaurant service, and better quality of food, the amount of money paid for the meal is significantly low. Those who hit Chick-Fil-A tend to stay within the 10 dollar range.
And what about the food? Fantastic! The quality of Chick-Fil-A chicken makes their meals comparable to Sonic or for the Southerners out there Hardy’s. The chicken sandwich is a big hit, and when paired with a side of waffle fries dipped in the polynesian sauce and a milkshake, stomachs will be singing “MMMMMM”.
Fast, friendly, frugal, and delicious? I’ll take that anyday. So go on, ignore grammar, save a cow, and head over to Chick-Fil-A if you haven’t already!
